Ian meets winning designer Gavin at Loch Lomond
Ian Poulter finally reveals the trousers he'll be wearing for the first round of this year's Open Championship.
The pants feature the Claret Jug and a list of past Open winners on the back of the right leg. The design was chosen by Ian and his tailor, William Hunt, from over 2000 entries to our Design Poulter's Pants competition. Winner Gavin Adams, 35, from Oxfordshire said: "The Claret Jug is an obvious symbol of the Open and I wanted to do something a bit more subtle than last year!"
Ian said: "Last year's Union Jack trousers were outrageous but these trousers have got enough statement in them." If you tune into BBC Two on Thursday you'll get your first glimpse of Poulter's pants in action. Ian tees off at 1258.
Following The Open, the trousers will be donated to The British Golf Museum at St Andrews. Congratulations to Gavin and the runners-up plus a big thank you to everyone who entered.
