The glove can be a key concentration tool
Almost every day in school teachers will tell you to concentrate, but we are never taught how to do this. In team games controlled by a referee their whistle to start and stop the game tells us when to switch our concentration on and off. Of course there is no whistle in golf. Different 'concentration triggers' can be used by golfers.
Taking the club out of the bag can be used as a trigger to switch on and placing it back in the bag after the shot as the turn off. Another good way to do this is to remove your glove after each shot and use the process of putting it on and taking it off as the concentration trigger. No player can concentrate totally for the full round so the time between shots is valuable for relaxation and keeping the mind fresh for the full 18 holes.
