Get your head clear for sport
This is one way of clearing your head for sport

Sports people need to deal with the 'gremlins' that contaminate performance.

The negative and disruptive thoughts that enter the mind. These are known as Performance Sapping Thoughts.

Mental skills training can help individuals to change their Performance Sapping Thoughts into Performance Enhancing thoughts.

A human has around 50,000 thoughts per day, most are harmless and deal with every day things.

Sometimes the self-talk - the things you think or say to yourself - can be negative and therefore dangerous.

Every thought is accepted as true by the brain, so it is essential to monitor the things you say to yourself.

Challenge the negative thoughts and replace them with positive, constructive and self-promoting thoughts.
