I always had this bad impression about golf. You see it on TV and it doesn't exactly look like the most energetic and fun sport ever does it? But when I first went down the driving range and then onto the course it was totally different to how I imagined. I was amazed by the number of young people playing and how much of a laugh you can have playing the game. Getting some younger commentators on the TV might give golf a better image, I wouldn't mind a go myself. Train me up on the golf stats and I'd give it a shot. "Now live from The Open, we hand over to the Dreem Teem," I can see it now. Seriously though I reckon there could be more access to golf courses for kids. If not full size courses then more pitch and putts at least.
The other thing is the dress code. It can be strict, so I think if they cooled on the dress code thing it could be more accessible. But I'm on a bit of a crusade to make golf more street and cool anwyay. It's well worth giving golf a shot because it's a whole load of fun and you never know, if you get as good as Tiger, you could earn a whole load of money!!
