Golfing fun at home!
Around the Academy:

Jean Van de Velde in a spot of bother at the British Open
Mr Van de Velde - ever thought of playing indoors?

Are you one of those golfers who only plays when the weather's nice?

A fair-weather player they call them.

No, the Academy is not sending you to a little Spanish island to practise your swings.

Nor are we going to strap a sun bed to your back.

But we CAN show you a handy little gadget that can be used even when the rain's lashing down.

Take your driving range back home
Any time, any place!

It's a computerized electronic driving range!

It's not the cheapest gadget around (you're looking at about three figures), but you'll be able to swing your clubs about without firing balls through your Mum's living room window!

It'll tell you how long the shot is, whether you've hooked or sliced it and how accurate you are.

So get your slippers on, put some tunes on and play in the comfort of your home!

No more excuses about it being too cold thank you.
