Swing with style
Around the Academy:

Zach Gould
Zach's got his own style

I usually practice with players who are older and better than me.

A lot of my golf partners are 18, 19, 20 years of age.

Playing with them helps me raise my game. That way I'll get better and better.

When you're starting out it's a good idea to keep an eye on what the top golfers do.

I spent hours watching the likes of Tiger Woods and Sergio Garcia on television.

Watch them and have a look at their swing, putting style and pre-shot routine.

See what they do and go out and try it yourself.

But don't think you have to be like the pros.

See what suits you.

If something doesn't work for you, try something else instead.

Experiment with different styles and in the end you'll find the best option for you.
