Tip: Keep your weight on your front foot in the sand
My favourite club is probably my 3-iron. I think the best shot of my career was the full-blooded 3-iron I hit coming up the 18th in the 1992 Open Championship at Muirfield. Faldo holed the putt for a birdie which saw him win by one shot from American John Cook. The hardest shot is probably from the sand. Long bunkers shots are the toughest to hit; when you have about 40-60 yards to the green. You cannot just blast the ball out - it's an extremely precise shot. You have to hit the ball and sand perfectly to get the right result - even for the pros that is still a very tricky shot.
