My advice
Paul Lawrie
Lawrie has a great touch around the greens

"I feel the strongest part of my game is from about 70-80 yards from the green

"Kids coming into the game need to practice their short game.

"This is where it's one and lost. It's not the 300-yard drives, but the chip and putt onto the green.

"Whacking drivers and four-irons on the range is not going to make you a good player."

Open Quote
The fact that Tiger is the best player in the world is not because he hits the ball 300 yards with a driver, it's because his short game is the best
