Paul Lawrie
Lawrie spends time practicing his bunker play

"I practice every day.

"When I'm playing I get to the course an hour before I start, to loosen up, hit a few balls, some chipping and some bunkers.

"After playing for four or five hours, I'd come off, have a quick bite to eat, then practice for another hour.

Open Quote

"But there's more to preparing for a tournament than that.

"My fitness is just as important as my practice.

"I do four or five sessions a week in the gym, stretching, weights, some bicycle, some treadmill. It's a huge part of what I do."
