David Gilford in action
Gilford putting under the eye of his guide
Twenty-nine-year-old Andy Gilford from Lancashire, first started playing golf when he was 14 after being encouraged to come down to his local course with friends.

"My friends started playing football down at the local park then moved on to golf.

"I would go along and carry their bags.

"That lasted until one of the guys suggested that if I hit the ball he would direct me and look to see where my ball went", said Gilford.

Gilford loved it and decided to see how good he could become.

Having a disability made him all the more determined to do better.
