Take that! Gary hits the net with another scorcher
If anybody knows about playing in the planet's biggest football tournaments, it's Gary Lineker.
He first played in the World Cup in 1986 at Mexico and finished highest scorer - even though England lost in the quarter-finals. And his four goals in 1990 helped his country reach the semis in Italy. By 1994 he had played World Cups, European Championships, in the Nou Camp for Barcelona and also in Japan. So whether it's a World Cup match or your school cup final, it's important to remember that everybody gets some nerves.
Even a player as experienced as Gary Lineker! So after swapping his boots for a BBC microphone a few years ago, see how he handled the big game pressure and how he warmed-up on the pitch. There are even a few strange superstitions of his that may surprise you!
