With former team-mate Eric Cantona
21. Ryan's been voted Manchester United's third best player of all time behind George Best and Eric Cantona. 22. He's won more medals than any other United player. His trophy haul includes the famous Treble (Premiership, FA Cup and Champions League) in 2000. 23. He bagged his EIGHTH league medal in 2003. 24. Some people rate his solo effort against Arsenal in the FA Cup semi-final replay in April 1999 as one of the greatest goals ever scored.
He jinked past four players to score a stunning winner in the final minutes of extra time. Then he celebrated by stripping off his shirt! Steady girls! 25. His first team debut was against Everton in March 1991 when he came on to replace the injured Denis Irwin.
26. A few weeks later, he scored the winning goal against Manchester City in his first full appearance at Old Trafford. 27. The following November, aged 17 years 321 days, Ryan became the youngest player to represent Wales. He came on as a sub to win his first cap against Germany in Nuremberg. 28. His first international goal came just a few months later against Belgium. It was Ryan's first start for his country and his first appearance in front of a home crowd. 29. Ryan was voted Young Player of the Year at the end of his first full season with Manchester United. The following year he became the first player to retain the title. 30. His testimonial season in 2001/02 marked Ryan's 10th year at Old Trafford. And here's one for luck.... 31. He has now signed a contract that will keep him at Old Trafford until 2006.
