Michael Ballack celebrates his goal against Korea that sent Germany into the World Cup final
Ballack also has some interesting celebrations!
Coach: Rudi Voeller

The Germans are always the team to beat any England fan will agree.

To prove this they finished as runners-up to the samba boys from Brazil, after they had been written off following their pre-World Cup jitters and a certain result in Munich last year!

Germany will be favourites to win the group, but Berti Vogts will be desperate to get one over on his fellow countrymen.

Danger-man: Michael Ballack (Bayern Munich)
The goal-scoring midfielder was a revelation during the World Cup, scoring the goal that took Germany into the final against Brazil.

Last match against Scotland:
Germany 0-1 Scotland, 1999, Bremen.
