As Man United battle for Premiership supremacy, the Academy caught up with one of their star defenders.

He was part of an exceptional group of United youngsters that were to win the FA Youth Cup in 1992.

And like David Beckham, Keith Gillespie, Robbie Savage, Ryan Giggs, Paul Scholes and Nicky Butt, he would also go on to make his mark in international football.
