Get practicing your cricket skills
The Easter holidays are coming up - and the Academy's here to make sure you're not stumped for things to do! Stacks of cricket activities have been organised at the National Cricket Centre in Cardiff's Sophia Gardens, home of Glamorgan County Cricket Club. Here's a taster of what's available.
Kwik Cricket Tuesday 13 April/Friday 16 April A fast moving, fun game that will help you get to grips with the basics of cricket. Age: 8-11 Time: 2pm-4pm Cost: £4 for one/£6 for two
Masterclasses Tuesday 13 April/Friday 16 April If you're keen to improve your skills, a cricketing masterclass could be right up your street. The intensive half-day course is designed to improve specific aspects of the improvers/advanced game Age: 10+Time: 9.30am-1.30pm Cost: £20 for one/£30 for two
Batting course Wednesday 14 April A two-hour course consisting of batting skills and drills. Players must bring their own protective equipment. Age: 11+ Time: 4.30pm-6.30pm Cost: £10
