Summer's almost here, and there's never been a better time get into cricket. Whether indoor or outdoor, here's our guide to getting into cricket.
English counties Surrey Country Cricket Club will be holding introductory 10-week courses for children between eight and 10. These courses run between January-March, at venues throughout Surrey. Contact: Brian Ruby on 01483 453531 for more information. The county will also be running 10-week courses for children between 12 and 16 at the same time throughout Surrrey between January and March. Somerset CCC are holding coaching sessions for both boys and girls of all abilities between the ages of six and eighteen years old on Saturdays in Taunton. Glamorgan CCC have got stacks of activities arranged this Easter. Sussex CCC will be holding courses for children between the ages of six to 18 of all levels. To find out more, check out their website. Lancashire CCC will be hosting "The Club" on Saturdays for all kids between the ages of eight and 11. You can find more details on their website. Essex CCC have organised loads of coaching days for players of all skills and all ages. They start in February and run all the way throughout 2004 right up until August.
