Robbie Peers takes charge for his second year with one of the strongest squads in the BBL. The London bunch are most people's tips to win a few trophies this season. Towers finished an impressive third in the BBL Championship last time round but were narrowly beaten by eventual winners Sheffield Sharks in the play-off semi-finals. Peers has spent the summer recruiting new players and his squad looks very strong on paper. A major coup is the signing of last year's BBL player of the year, Jerry Williams, from title rivals the Scottish Rocks. Also new on board are Rico Alderson and Sullivan Phillips, poached from reigning BBL champs Brighton Bears. Lynard Stewart, Danny Craven and the returning Rod Brown have also been added to the formidable line-up. So it looks like the Towers will take some stopping in the 2004/05 season!
