Basketball's new teen sensation
Around the Academy:

LeBron James
James has basketball fans jumping through hoops
LeBron James is already bigger than Michael Jordan.

The 18-year-old from Ohio stands two inches taller than his idol at 6 feet 8 inches.

And his reputation surpasses the great man - at least in terms of his recognition as the 'best high school basketball player of all time'.

And his NBA debut proved that James can live up to the hype - he scored 25 points and nine assists for the Cleveland Cavaliers to confirm his status a potential great.

It may be a little early to predict whether he will go on to emulate Jordan's NBA career.

But the whole of America is hanging on James' every alley-oop dunk, and no-look bounce pass as he continues to tear up the court.

The kind of attention James is receiving has never been witnessed before.

And, according to the best scouts in the game, his ability is a brand new phenomenon too.
