400m tips with Jeremy Wariner
Around the Academy:

Jeremy Wariner passes on his 400m tips
Wariner strides to glory in Helsinki
I'm Jeremy Wariner and I'm the 400m World and Olympic champion.

Running one lap of the track is unbelievably hard work.

Watch my masterclass:

You need to stay focused at the start and try to block out everything. That includes the crowd and other athletes.

I go out hard from the blocks and look for the person in the lane in front of me.

You'll be hurting in the final 100m but keep working hard and think about the finish line.
