Paula Radcliffe's coach reveals all to the Sport Academy
Paula likes to be leader of the pack

Fancy being the next Paula Radcliffe? It's not going to be easy.

She's one of the finest ever long distance runners and she's now world marathon champion after a disappointing Olympics last year.

She's had an amazing career - from world records to gold at the Commonwealths and European Champs and she's run the three quickest-ever marathons for women.

Paula Radcliffe's coach reveals all to the Sport Academy

So what does it take to get to the top? Paula's has a huge team behind her - physios, dieticians, weights instructors and Gary Lough - her husband and manager.

And then there's the coach. The man who's been putting her through her paces since she was a fresh-faced 12 year old.

Alex Stanton reveals how his wife spotted Paula's potential, how her career progressed and what goes through her mind during a race.
