Want to commentate at the FA Cup final?

Imagine this. Two of the country's biggest football teams walk out of the tunnel at the Millennium stadium to a deafening noise.

Yep, it's the FA Cup final and who's sitting in the best seat in the house behind the microphone describing the scenes?

Well it could be YOU!

BBC Sport Academy in association with The Sun are once again continuing the search for the "Mini Mike" junior commentator of the year.

We'll give two lucky winners the chance to commentate on a half each for the BBC Sport Interactive coverage. You'll be a star on television!

During each round of the FA Cup, we'll be asking budding microphone magicians aged 8-16 to ring in with commentary to accompany a goal of their choice.

Fancy celebrating for the final in May?

We'll pick the best entries after each round. After the semi-finals, a judging panel - including John Motson and the editor of Match of the Day - will select an overall winner and runners-up.

The winner will win two tickets to the FA Cup final, and will be interviewed on the FA Cup final Match of the Day!

A third winner will receive a selection of Umbro England kit and training gear.

All you need to do is watch the highlights on Match of the Day, or get them recorded, then have a phone to hand ready to do your commentary.

Calls will be a maximum of one minute long, charged at the national rate.

And that number is: 08705 12 22 12

Please read the rules and make sure your parent or guardian has agreed before you enter.

  • When you call, leave your first name, age, town, and contact telephone number in case you win. You should then have about 30 seconds for your commentary.

  • The call will cut off automatically after one minute. It will be charged at the national rate. Call costs may vary on mobile phones.

  • If your entry is one of the 10 winners after each round, the commentary will appear on BBC Sport Academy, along with your name, age and home town. We will only use the telephone number to contact you if you win one of the prizes.

  • If you win the main prize, one of the tickets will be for your parent or guardian to accompany you.

  • The competition is open to residents of the UK only.
