A wicketkeeper also requires the extra protection of wearing a box and pads. If you are new to wicketkeeping then an ordinary pair of batting pads will suffice.
Essentially they are similar to batting pads, but they are shorter and as such lighter in weight making them easier to move and dive around in. |
