Whether you are a player, a scorer, a spectator or of course an actual referee, knowing some of the signals will really help your game. It might actually look like the referee is dancing at the local disco for some of the signals. But there is a special sequence of movements for a number of different situations that will be handy to know about. There are four personal fouls and two technical fouls and the referee will initially indicate which one it is. The type of foul will then be signalled. There are also violation signals for travelling and time restrictions. As well as administration signals for things like time-outs and substitutions. Click on to the above to see how these are done.
