Pete's lifeline
Pete knows he lost focus
One of you boys is going home

Peter Kirby

Having avoided the drop zone first time round, this time was a completely different experience.

Being in the middle was pretty scary. I was anxious but I thought I had more of an advantage than Kye or Fola.

Firstly, I wasn't at the bottom.

So I didn't have the least amount of points.

And secondly, I think my focus and approach has been better than them, particularly Kye's.

That's why he went really. I had that in my mind.

But I also thought if I think I'm staying and I end up going then it will be so much worse.

So it was a bit of both, definitely a weird one.

Being saved was a relief. I felt good but at the same time you feel bad for the other two.

We've made friends and they're good blokes and you don't want to see anyone go. But you know someone has to.

The reason I was in the drop zone was because I lost focus.

Rooftop Slalom was my best event. I should have come at least in the top three and instead I finished last.

If I'd done well there I wouldn't have been in the drop zone.

I knew as soon as I'd finished what went wrong and then Colin confirmed it.

I've just got to listen to what he says and try and improve my performance.
