A gutting experience
Louise W
Over at the first stage for Louise W

Louise Webster

It was quite weird. I knew I'd get eliminated but I didn't want to be the first person out.

Louise W on elimination

I suppose I'd got a 50-50 chance of staying or going but because I was bottom I thought I'd be favourite to go.

It's gutting because of all the training I've done over the last seven or eight weeks.

And to think that my strongest events are a week down the line but there's nothing I can do now.

I'm just going to get home and get straight back into my training.

Training is what I do. I want to get back to a normal life.

I wish everyone good luck because they've all got a good chance of winning.

I'd say Charlotte and Sam have the best chance, followed by Louise. But it's hard to say after just one week.

The best thing was coming to Austria and having a chance to learn about myself.

It was definitely a good experience to compete against the top nine athletes in the country.

It's just a shame that my best events weren't the first.
