Trevor Steven

Former England international Trevor Steven won numerous medals in a playing career that spanned two decades.

He began his career at Burnley before Everton paid 300,000 for him as a 19-year-old in 1983.

He went on to pay back their faith in his abilities by being instrumental in the Toffees becoming a major force throughout the eighties.

With the combative midfielder, Everton won the FA Cup, the league championship and a Cup Winners' Cup.

Steven moved to Glasgow Rangers in 1989 in search of European football and then joined England colleague Chris Waddle in Marseille.

He returned to Rangers in 1989 to finish his career.

The 39-year-old will be summarising in Korea and Japan.
