Steve Cherundolo

Club: Hannover 96
Position: Defender

Cherundolo had at one point looked a definite for the squad but was left out of the initial 23 because of a string of disappointing displays in friendlies.

However, he was finally given his chance following the withdrawal through injury of Chris Armas.

Cherundolo currently plays for newly promoted Bundesliga side Hannover 96.

The young and pacy defender, should he recapture his earlier form, now has the ability to push for the starting right-back spot.
