Brian McBride

Club: Columbus Crew
Position: Forward

Used primarily as a target man, McBride is approaching the 20-goal mark for his country and has become a reliable goalscorer.

Is the most likely man to be awarded one of the starting positions up front by Bruce Arena, he is also strong on the ball and does well to bring others into play.

Will turn 30 during the tournament and thanks to his experience he leads from the front when the tables are turned.

Scored two goals during five appearances in the qualifying campaign.
