Diego Forlan

Club: Manchester United
Position: Forward

Forlan has the perfect World Cup pedigree - his father represented Uruguay in the 1960s and 1970s, playing in two World Cups during that time.

Forlan Jr, meanwhile, will get his first chance at the tournament after being called up on his birthday.

He surprised many with a switch to Manchester United midway through the season after a series of strong displays for Independiente.

He is quick, powerful and scored some sensational goals in the Argentinian league.
