Yildiray Basturk

Club: Bayer Leverkusen
Position: Midfielder

Much of Turkey's hope and expectation is on Basturk as the team prepare for the World Cup.

And the 23-year-old, who was born, raised and plays his football in Germany, should not disappoint.

He has been dominant in midfield alongside German internationals Michael Ballack and Carsten Ramelow for Bayer Leverkusen in their impressive Champions League run.

He is quick, ambitious and appears to be able to run all day.

And he looks to have been a snip at 4m, the price Bayer paid to lure him from Bochum.
