Choi Sung-Yong

Club: Pusan Icons
Position: Midfielder

Two seasons in the Austrian league gave Choi the European experience he craved and he has blossomed as a result back at home.

A natural winger, he is moved between defence and midfield in the South Korean starting line-ups.

He has been outspoken in his support for Guus Hiddink and is desperate to shake off the ignominy of his country's premature exit in France 98.

The Pusan Icons defender has surpassed the half-century mark in appearances for his country.
