Habib Beye

Club: Strasbourg
Position: Defender

Beye has enjoyed one of his best seasons to date at French side Strasbourg.

While he struggled at previous club Paris St Germain, he has flourished since switching allegiance in the French championship.

The 24-year-old was originally being chased by Middlesbrough boss Steve McLaren and even went so far as having a trial at the Riverside Stadium.

He turned down the chance of a full-time contract and subsequently produced a fresh zest to his game.
