Alassane Ndour

Club: Saint-Etienne
Position: Defender

Senegal's squad is littered with a series of promising youngsters, among them Alassane Ndour.

The 20-year-old had little part to play in World Cup qualifying or the African Nations Cup.

But his bosses at Saint-Etienne and Senegal are just beginning to take notice of the talented midfielder.

For the time being he will be a potent substitute but he has at least three World Cups ahead of him.
