Pape Bouba Diop

Club: Lens
Position: Midfielder

Pape Bouba Diop joined Senegal's French contingent this January when he left Swiss side Grasshoppers Zurich for Lens.

The defensive midfielder now plays alongside international team-mates Pape Sarr, El Hadji Diouf and Ferdinand Coly at his club.

Diop acts as a midfield enforcer who is strong in the tackle but also breaks forward when the chance arises.

He played in the Uefa Cup for Grasshoppers earlier this year and was part of Senegal's African Nations Cup squad.
