Ian Harte

Club: Leeds United
Position: Defender

Ian Harte is a player who is more of a regular fixture at international level than at his club.

Although he is a defender, Harte is famed for his dead-ball skills with his left-foot.

Harte is particularly lethal from direct free-kicks outside the penalty area.

The wing-back was picked up by Leeds from an early age and has progressed up the ranks.

His fellow countryman and Leeds United defender Gary Kelly is his uncle.
