Emmanuel Olisadebe

Club: Panathanaikos
Position: Forward

Emmanuel Olisadebe's season with Panathinaikos started well but his run-in to the World Cup has been disrupted in recent weeks after he was dropped by the Greek outfit because of problems with his weight.

Nevertheless, he is an excellent striker and was seen by manager Jerzy Engel as the final piece in his jigsaw puzzle to complete a successful Polish team.

Born in Nigeria, Poland rapidly granted him citizenship after a prolific spell with Polonia Warsaw in 1999.

A powerful and pacy striker, Olisadebe has also had the benefit of Champions League experience this season.
