Daniel Sanabria

Club: Libertad
Position: Defender

Sanabria ought to be resigned to the fact that he is an unlikely starter for Cesare Maldini's Paraguayan XI.

The signs were there in qualifying, where he made the squad on a handful of occasions but just got one run on, as a substitute, in their marathon campaign.

A stout, if unspectacular, presence in defence, he is among five Libertad players in the final 23.

Has been known to linger out of position, much to the annoyance of Maldini.
