Sebastian Kehl

Club: Borussia Dortmund
Position: Defender

Borussia Dortmund have supplied the majority of Germany's World Cup defence and Kehl is just one of the entire back four to be picked from the Bundesliga side.

However, Kehl could well have been playing for a different club side following a battle for his services between Dortmund and rivals Bayern Munich.

The 22-year-old is, according to Voeller, the future of German defending and has been in sensational form both for his country and on the domestic front.

This campaign has probably come a little too early and while impressing against Paraguay, he struggled against the USA.

He is fast, never gives up in the challenge and is strong at getting forward.

After just three international appearances he had already scored his first goal for his country and is definitely one for the future.
