The only surprise in the line-up is that Scolari has opted for Kleberson over Vampeta.
Former PSV Eindhoven and Inter Milan midfielder Vampeta had been tipped for a starting role alongside Emerson.
However, Scolari has gone for Kleberson to play alongside his captain, as he believes the Atletico Paranaense player will allow Roberto Carlos and Cafu to fulfil their attacking potential on the flanks.
"Kleberson is more of a tactical player who goes forward less often than Vampeta," Scolari said.
"We want the wingers to have more freedom and Kleberson is more suited to provide it."
Lyon's Edmilson is the only other change from Scolari's recent starting teams, replacing Anderson Polga in the three-man defence.
Scolari intends to send the team out for Sunday's friendly against Malaysia prior to thier opening game against Turkey.
"Against Malaysia, we will start with one system and change it later so I will be able to really test the players," Scolari added.
"We must be able to adapt to different tactics and this means there will be changes with every match we play depending on the opposition.
"We are 90% ready for the World Cup and we will use the friendly to make it to 100%," Scolari concluded.
