Francky Vandendriessche

Club: Excelsior Mouscron
Position: Goalkeeper

Secured a place in the squad ahead of Jan Moons and Ronny Gaspercic, but is very much third choice.

Vandendriessche was almost a casualty of the Belgians' injury jinx ahead of the finals, sustaining a bruised right foot in a training ground accident - but recovered to make the trip.

The 31-year-old has experience at domestic level but international football is still new to him.

He did not play in any of his side's qualifying games and will be warming the bench this summer.

But he had a good season with Mouscron in the Belgian League, helping his side secure a top-six finish.
