'Brilliant' Brazil

BBC Sport's Alan Hansen
Expert verdict on Brazil v Turkey

Turkey were exceptional, but Brazil were the better side.

They had so many chances as you would expect from such an attacking team.

After Ronaldo scored with his toe-poked effort - and he only skipped past seven defenders to do so - Brazil were in the ascendancy.

It was marvellous to watch and when their moves came off it was brilliant.

There is no other team in the competition that are so pleasing on the eye.

Brazil have such good movement. You had Cafu bombing down the right, trying to get forward at every opportunity.

Rivaldo and Ronaldo were exceptional.

It would be an absolute travesty if Germany were to beat Brazil in the final on the Sunday.

The Germans are not the best side, but having said that they are a better team than the one that lost 5-1 to England in Munich last year.

They are far more organised and have better players, so it won't be easy for Brazil.

But I'm just so happyr Felipe Scolari's side are in the final and let's hope Brazil win.

BBC Sport's Ian Wright

Ronaldo's goal was Romario-style. He hit the ball and bang, it's in the back of the net.

The way he just toe-poked it past the keeper was brilliant - and he wasn't even 100% fit.

A 50%-fit Ronaldo gave the Turkey defenders problems. It doesn't matter if Ronaldo has not fully recovered, he will play in the final on Sunday.

Turkey had some chances late on, but Brazil were too good.

Rivaldo was looking for a goal all game and was unlucky not to get one.

I'll be supporting Brazil in the final, that's for sure.
