Tunisia sweat on Trabelsi
Tunisia defender Hatem Trabelsi
Trabelsi (centre) will be kept under close observation
Tunisia's World Cup preparations have suffered a setback with their Ajax defender Hatem Trabelsi being forced to skip training.

Trabelsi is suffering from an inflammation of the right knee and will be kept under observation for the next five days.

Tunisia coach Ammar Souayah, who confirmed his 23-man squad for the World Cup on Tuesday, has already had to cope with the loss of key midfielder Oussama Sallimi.

Sallimi will miss the tournament after injuring his knee in the 2-1 friendly defeat to Japanese club side Oita Trinita.

The north African team, who are in Group H at the finals with Belgium, Russia and Japan, arrived at their base in Kashihara on Tuesday.

They will face Japanese club Gamba Osaka in another warm-up match on Thursday.
