Isaksson's rise in the game was a rapid one. He made his league debut at the age of 17 and proved to be one of the top Scandanavian goalkeepers.
He was then snapped up by Serie A side Juventus for £1.1m where his opportunities were severly limited.
The 20-year-old did not even make an appearance as a substitute but grew in stature training alongside Gianluigi Buffon.
When he finally returned to the Swedish league with Djurgardens he proved his maturity and looks certain to be the future of goalkeeping in the national side.
