It was only his fourth international appearance but Bruno Metsu believes he has the potential to shape Senegal's midfield.

He played just one qualifier and was on the losing side against Egypt last May.

The African Nations Cup was his first real opportunity on the international stage and should hold him in good stead for the World Cup.
