Omar Daf
Club:Sochaux
Position:Defender

Cameroon's Sameul Eto'o may have got the better of him in the African Nations Cup final, but Omar Daf rarely lets his side down in defence.

The 25-year-old, who plays for French side Sochaux, has been capped more than 30 times at international level and, as such, is the experienced head of the Senegalese defence.

Despite a difficult game against Cameroon, he proved his ability in the early rounds of the Cup.

With him and Ferdinand Coly on either flank, Senegal's defence ought to remain tight.
