Diallo has fallen out of favour at just the wrong time.

Senegal's goalkeeper for six of the 10 World Cup qualifying games, he has been ousted from the number one shirt by Tony Sylva.

The 29-year-old is one of the few Senegal players plying his trade outside of France, in his case in the Moroccan domestic league.

Following Sylva's African Nations Cup showing, his chances of winning back his spot are currently slim.
