Senegal v Turkey | Quarter-final
Sat Jun 22 2002 | 1230 BST | Osaka
Live on BBC Radio Five Live
Senegal midfielder Amdy Faye has criticised Turkey's tactics, fearing they may try and get some of the Lions sent off in Saturday's quarter-final.
"We could well get men sent off," Faye told BBC Sport Online, "and we know we will get no presents from the referee.
"The Turks are well known for trying every trick in the book to destabilise teams."
However, Faye is confident that the Europeans' tactics will not work on his team-mates - in part because they are not very stable already.
"Our team is made up of bandits and madmen," Faye confirmed.
"We need to be aggressive - but in a good way."
Despite the obvious potential for a stormy match between the tricksters and the madmen, Faye is happy that Senegal is playing Turkey.
"I am really happy, because it is the match I would have chosen. It is
between two foreign teams, and so it is 50-50.
"But anyway I don't care about Turkey, if we are physically at the top of
our game we will be fine."
