Senegal are negotiating two last-minute friendlies, in the days preceding their World Cup opener against France on 31 May.They are hoping to arrange games against Ecuador and Belgium.
Organising the games is proving difficult because both countries are based in Japan for the tournament, whereas Senegal are in Korea.
The Senegalese Football Federation has been criticised for the national team's inactivity as the World Cup finals draw closer.
The Lions have played just once since they lost the final of the African Nations Cup in February.Although the 2-1 win over Bolivia in March gave coach Bruno Metsu a chance to work with his players, Senegal did not play any game on 17 April.
The other 31 World Cup finalists played a match that day.
The Lions will meet Japanese club side Kashiwa Reysol at their training camp in Fujieda, south of Tokyo, on 19 May.
Before that encounter, they have a match against Saudi Arabia in Riyadh on 14 May, after which they will travel to Fujieda.
Senegal's football officials are also considering the possibility of a World Cup 'farewell' match for the home fans, possibly against Guinea on 11 May.
