Two Irish citizens have been arrested for trespassing, while another has been detained for not having his passport, at the World Cup in Japan.
Japanese police identified the alleged trespassers as Ruaidhri Geraghty, 25, and Richard McGrath, 25.
According to police spokesman Masao Hosoda, the pair scaled an eight-foot fence at Yokohama International Stadium - site of the Republic of Ireland's Tuesday victory over Saudi Arabia - and were arrested on the spot.
They did not have tickets for the match, which the Irish won 3-0 to advance to the second round of the World Cup.
Separately, police said they arrested 24-year-old Brian Geraghty, also of Ireland, for not carrying his passport while trying to enter the stadium with an invalid ticket.
Geraghty had a ticket for Japan's 9 June match against Russia - also played at Yokohama - but was released and had charges dropped when an acquaintance appeared with his passport.
