Armando Teixeira, better known as Petit, was an impressive player in Boavista's run in the Champions League this season.

He proved to be their most creative performer and showed a more attacking dimension to his often conservative approach.

He only made his debut in June 2001 against the Republic of Ireland but went on to play in five of Portugal's 10 qualifying games.

The 25-year-old is again likely to be the hardworker of his side's midfield this summer.
